Our Team

Priscila Terenzi - Founder & Managing Director

Priscila's journey into sustainability began with a transformative experience in the Amazon rainforest, where she witnessed firsthand the importance of community engagement in conservation. Inspired, she returned to Berlin with a new mission: to raise awareness about the Amazon and support those working to protect it. With a background in Business & People Management from Insper SP and over 10+ years of experience in people & project management across Brazil and Germany, she founded Ka'a Harmony Foundation to build bridges between Amazonian women-led initiatives and European partners.

Isis Araujo - Partnerships & Grant Development

Isis is a Brazilian professional based in Berlin with 7+ years of experience connecting people, organisations, and missions across Latin America and Europe. She holds a Bachelor’s in International Relations from UFF and a Master of Public Policy from the Willy Brandt School of Public Policy.

Her experience across policy analysis, project development, partnerships, stakeholder engagement, grant writing, and fundraising across civil society, international organisations, and the public sector. Having built her career across Brazil and Germany, she brings a strong commitment to collective action and to strengthening connections between Amazonian communities and European partners.

Jakeline Xavier - Communications & Social Media

Journalist graduated from the Federal University of Amazonas (UFAM), Jakeline brings over five years of experience in press relations, writing and content production for social media, working alongside Civil Society Organisations focused on Communication for Development (C4D). A climate activist and advocate for a just energy transition, she brings both professional depth and personal commitment to Ka'a Harmony's communications work.

Alina Cuznetov - Digital Communications & Design

Alina has always been happiest surrounded by the great outdoors. A trip to the northeast of Brazil, where she encountered the fragile state of Recife's coral reefs, turned that love of nature into a desire to do more for the planet. At Ka'a Harmony, her work in digital communications and design aligns with her two deepest values, preserving the environment and supporting women-led initiatives that champion climate justice.

Nicole Kormann - Research & Project Development

After graduating in Economics at the Universidade Federal de Santa Catarina (UFSC) in Brazil, Nicole came to Germany to pursue an Erasmus Mundus Master's in Political Economy. She stayed on, working for several years on economic topics such as inequality and the macroeconomics of a green transition. Over time, she grew increasingly aware that economic policy alone offers too narrow a lens for addressing the root causes of our social and political challenges. This has led her to engage more deeply with social-ecological approaches, community-based work, and bottom-up change. At Ka’a Harmony, she brings research expertise and project management experience to help ensure that the narratives of those living in the Amazon shape dialogue and action.

Ka'a Harmony is built on collaboration. We are a small, women-led passionate team working across communications, research, and design - united by a shared belief that the Amazon's future depends on the bridges we build today.

We are not currently hiring, but we are always looking for passionate volunteers. If you'd like to get involved, we'd love to hear from you! Please reach out to terenzi@kaaharmony.com
