Climate justice
Women and traditional communities are on the front line of climate change, yet receive less than 1% of climate finance.
Non-profit · Berlin & the Amazon
Ka’a Harmony connects women-led community initiatives in the Amazon with European partners to strengthen climate justice.

<1%
of climate finance reaches the women and traditional communities on the front line.
Why this matters
Women and traditional communities are on the front line of climate change, yet receive less than 1% of climate finance.
Amazonian women protect biodiversity and forests through nature-based solutions rooted in ancestral knowledge and community leadership.
Systemic change requires coalition – bridging grassroots leadership in the Amazon with European partners, resources and networks for collective impact.

The decline since 2021 is no accident. Indigenous peoples, riverside communities and, above all, women on the ground protect their forests every day – backed by protected areas, enforcement and community projects like the ones we stand alongside.
But less does not mean enough: thousands of square kilometres still disappear every year, and every success can quickly be lost again. Now is the time for more support – not less.

Our approach
We amplify and support grassroots projects led by women working in conservation, socio-bioeconomy and community resilience.
We connect local leaders with European foundations, companies, investors and institutions committed to climate justice.
Through storytelling, events, matchmaking and co-creation, we help transform local solutions into global impact.
On the ground
Community-led conservation in the Mamirauá reserve and the Juruá river basin.
Support & partner with us
Regular donations let us plan ahead: amplifying Amazonian voices in Europe, organising events and connecting local impact with global solidarity.
