The Amazon Week is a series of multisectoral events focused on the sustainable development of the Amazon rainforest, facilitating crucial discussions on forest conservation, climate protection, and socioeconomic development in the region. In its second edition, organized by Brazilian embassies in Berlin, Brussels and Paris, along with the Brazilian mission to the European Union and other Amazonian countries' embassies, the initiative brings together public institutions, think tanks, NGOs, companies, consultancies, and academia.

At the Brazilian Embassy in Berlin, Ka'a Harmony co-organized "The Challenges of Bioeconomy" panel alongside Meli Bees gUG. The event explored how local communities in the Amazon can lead the bioeconomy through real examples of agroforestry, sustainable fishing, and meliponiculture, while examining the challenges these communities face and how global partnerships, particularly with Germany, can strengthen their efforts.

Priscila, Ka'a Harmony's founder, led and moderated the second panel discussion specifically focused on Pirarucu fishing. The hybrid format enabled meaningful dialogue between different actors, featuring João Silva, president of Instituto Juruá, and Marciane Pereira, Chief of the Kokama ethnic group in Santo Antônio do Içá, joining directly from Brazil to share their firsthand experiences and perspectives.

This collaboration at the embassy level represents a significant milestone for Ka'a Harmony Foundation, demonstrating how diplomatic partnerships can amplify the voices of Amazonian communities and showcase sustainable practices that benefit both local economies and global climate goals.
